Tom Barman is a visual explorer whose photographic practice was born directly from the "dead time" of a life in transit.
During decades of relentless international touring, the empty, suspended hours between soundchecks, flights, and hotel rooms became a fertile ground for his lens. Rather than letting these liminal moments fade into monotony, Barman used them to document the world from the periphery.
