Holly Hendry

Holly Hendry is a leading contemporary artist based in London. She received her BA from The University of Brighton and an MA from the Royal College of Art. Her work is in major public collections, including the British Council Collection and the Arts Council Collection. Recent solo exhibitions include Water-Tight, at the Hayward Gallery, London (2023) and Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Wakefield (2021). She is a recipient of the prestigious Mark Tanner Sculpture Award.

Hendry is celebrated for her profound exploration of "the anatomy of things." Originally brought to our attention by the director of the Stephen Friedman Gallery, Hendry shows at Toile Blanche Contemporary following her acclaimed intervention at the Hayward Gallery and a major site-specific commission for Hermès Ginza in Tokyo. For this exclusive residency, Hendry pivots from her monumental museum installations to a more intimate, process-led practice.
