The Clash of Images, from the Middle Ages to the Screen

The exhibition takes its title MPRSSNSM, from a pun that hides a powerful intention: to question the Impression of our images. Caccia uses silkscreen, the tool of Pop Art, not for perfect copying, but to celebrate the failures of reproduction. On the canvas, painting cancels and transforms the mechanical print, making every work a unique and vibrant abstraction.
" By confronting the Macabre image to the digital infinite, the works reveal that beneath the smooth surface of media saturation, the history of painting and the visceral gesture of the artist remain!"
